My Vision for Greece
In this race, I am fighting for a strong, safe, affordable community in which our residents can raise a family, find quality housing, benefit from strategic economic development, live comfortably with lower taxes & be represented by open & transparent government.
Taxes & Fiscal Responsibility
Hold firm against property taxes increasing, lower tax bills overall & address concerns about budget waste.
I will be a responsible steward of your tax dollars—cutting waste, increasing efficiency, and focusing on real priorities.
Public Safety & Emergency Services
Improve police department morale due to the high number of past lawsuits filed. Address Command staff issues. Return a sense of pride to the police dept. Work with the Fire Departments and other public agencies to reinstitute the Towns Public Safety Committee. Reinstitute the School Resource Officer Program at no cost to the Greece Central School District.
Every family deserves to feel safe. I’ll support staffing, equipment upgrades, and proactive emergency planning.
Community Development & Revitalization
We can’t afford vacant storefronts including the mall. We need to address youth crime with a multi-agency task-force during the holiday season, while also addressing blight & lack of investment in commercial areas.
Let’s reimagine our town with vibrant public spaces, incentives for small businesses, and thoughtful development.
Transparency & Citizen Engagement
Eliminate the perception of closed-door decisions or lack of input opportunities. Ensure proper broadcasting of all public meetings to make information easy to access & understand.
I will ensure town decisions are made in the open—and that residents have a seat at the table, with board members have open dialogue on agenda items.
Infrastructure & Roads
Fix aging roads, potholes, and unsafe intersections.
I will prioritize smarter infrastructure planning, safer roads, and long-term maintenance solutions—not patchwork repairs.
Affordable Housing
Ensure that rising property values are not pushing out residents.
We must preserve our community’s character while ensuring young families and seniors can afford to stay here.
Economic Development, Land Use & Zoning
Find solutions to local job opportunities & business retention while also preventing overdevelopment, loss of open space, or inconsistent zoning enforcement.
I’ll champion local entrepreneurship, cut red tape & create an environment where businesses thrive and stay while meeting future needs.

Jim's Community Involvement
Police Officer for 29 Years
During my career I served as a Crime Prevention Officer, School Resource Officer, Neighborhood Watch coordinator & Command Post coordinator.
Other Public Safety Service
In addition to the police force, I have also served as a medic, driver, dispatcher & crew chief for Greece Volunteer Ambulance, in addition to being a volunteer firefighter with Lake Shore Fire Department.
Committed Parent & Coach
While raising my children in this community I have also served various capacities with local sports organizations including the Greece Girls Soccer League.
Traffic Safety Team Member
Since 2024, I have been a member of the Community Traffic Safety Team (CTST) helping to ensure safe roadways for our residents & children.
